Dog boarding near Doreen
For Doreen and Laurimar dogs used to a real daily walk — exercise and company built into the day.
Dog boarding for Doreen and Laurimar runs from our Wollert property. The dogs we board from there tend to be big, fit and used to being exercised properly, so daily exercise, outdoor time and supervised play with suitable dogs are the parts of the day that do the most work.
Why Doreen dog owners board with us
Doreen and Laurimar dogs usually arrive with a real exercise habit already in place, and that is the thing most likely to be lost in a boarding stay. So the day is built around movement and company: play and toys in the morning, time outside for fresh air and a change of scenery, and supervised socialising with the dogs who enjoy it.
The other half is rest, which active dogs are often worse at than their owners think. The afternoon makes room for a proper sleep, the evening is a calm routine and dinner, and the night is spent in a comfortable, weather-protected space. A big dog who has run, eaten and slept on a predictable schedule comes home settled rather than strung out.
- Daily exercise, outdoor time and enrichment for dogs with a real walking habit
- Rest and quiet time built into every afternoon, not squeezed in
- Multi-dog bookings welcome — mention both dogs' breeds and ages when you enquire

Doreen dog boarding questions
We have two large dogs. Can they stay together?
Usually, yes — dogs from the same household normally stay together unless they would rather not. Tell us both dogs' breeds and ages when you enquire so the space is sorted before they arrive.
Our dog is walked every day. Will they get enough exercise?
Daily exercise and outdoor time are part of every day here, along with play and enrichment. It is a different kind of activity to a set route on lead, so if your dog has a routine that matters to them, write it down and we will keep as close to it as we can.
Do you board dogs from Laurimar and Hazel Glen?
Regularly — they are the two parts of Doreen we hear from most, and the booking works the same either way.
Our dog is not that interested in other dogs. Is that a problem?
Not at all. Socialising happens with suitable dogs under supervision, and a dog who prefers their own company gets their own space. Rest and quiet time are built into the afternoon for every dog, not just the ones who ask for it.
